Kinder Programs

Our Universal Transitional Kindergarten program is NOT part of the Magnet application process. Students who do not live within Rockdale's resident boundaries must get a permit from their home school. Students on permits must renew them annually.

We have two kindergarten programs at Rockdale:

  • Universal Transitional Kindergarten (UTK) - Open for students who turn 5 between September 2nd and September 1st. This is part of a two year Kindergarten Program.
  • Kindergarten - Open to students who are 5 before September 2nd. Kindergarten is part of our Magnet program so potential rockets need to apply via eChoices.
